Para la 34 edición de Premio Lo Nuestro, que se realizarán en vivo desde FTX Arena en Miami, el 24 de febrero a partir de las 8 p.m., Christian Nodal está nominado en las siguientes categorías:

• Artista Premio Lo Nuestro del Año y Artista del Año Regional Mexicano.
• Canción del Año y Canción del Año Regional por su tema ‘Dime cómo quieres’, con Ángela Aguilar.
• La Mezcla Perfecta del Año (‘Botella Tras Botella’ con Gera Mx & Christian Nodal
• Así mismo Nodal tiene doble postulación en tres categorías: Canción del Año Regional Mexicano (‘Dime Cómo Quieres’ con Ángela Aguilar) y por ‘Duele’ (con Alejandro Fernández); Colaboración del Año Regional Mexicano (‘Botella Tras Botella’ con Gera MX) y ‘Duele’ (con Alejandro Fernández), así como también en Canción Mariachi/Ranchera Del Año – Regional Mexicano, por las canciones ‘Aquí Abajo’ y ‘Duele’.

Una de las artistas más jóvenes en la lista de nominados, Ángela Aguilar, figura como candidata para llevarse premios en estas nominaciones: Artista Premio Lo Nuestro del Año, Artista Revelación Femenino y Artista del Año Regional Mexicano. Su álbum Mexicana Enamorada, compite por el Premio Lo Nuestro en Álbum Del Año y Álbum del Año Regional Mexicano. Mientras que, con Christian Nodal, comparte nominaciones en Canción del Año y Canción del Año Regional Mexicana por su éxito ‘Dime Cómo Quieres’ – con Christian Nodal.

Por su parte Reik, quien es candidato a llevarse el premio al Grupo o Dúo del Año Pop, está incluido en estas otras categorías: Canción del Año Pop (‘Lo Intenté Todo’ – con Jessie Reyez), Colaboración del Año Pop (‘Perfecta’ – con Maluma) y Canción Del Año – Pop Balada ‘Te Hubieras Ido Antes’.

Christian Nodal leads nominees for Premio Lo Nuestro 2022

Calibre 50, Angela Aguilar and Reik are also among the most nominated artists for the world’s
longest-running Latin music awards program.

SESAC Latina artists are among the most nominated for Premio Lo Nuestro 2022. Christian Nodal leads the list with ten nominations, followed closely by Calibre 50 with eight, Ángela Aguilar with seven, and Reik with five.

For the 34th edition of Premio Lo Nuestro, which will be held live from FTX Arena in Miami, February 24, starting at 8 p.m., Christian Nodal is nominated in the following categories:

• Premio Lo Nuestro Artist of the Year and Regional Mexican Artist of the Year.
• Song of the Year for his song ‘Dime Cómo Quieres’, with Angela Aguilar.
• The Perfect Mix of the Year (‘Botella Tras Botella’ with Gera Mx & Christian Nodal).
• Nodal is also twice nominated in three categories: Regional Mexican Song of the Year (‘Dime Cómo Quieres’ with Ángela Aguilar) and for ‘Duele’ (with Alejandro Fernández); Regional Mexican Collaboration of the Year (‘Botella Tras Botella’ with Gera MX) and ‘Duele’ (with Alejandro Fernández). Her album, Mexicana Enamorada, competes for the Lo Nuestro Award in Album Of The Year and Regional Mexican Album Of The Year. Meanwhile, she is nominated (alongside Christian Nodal) for Song of the Year and Regional Mexican Song of the Year for their hit ‘Dime Cómo Quieres.’

Reik, who is nominated for Pop Group or Duo of the Year, is included in these other categories: Pop Song of the Year (‘Lo Intenté Todo’ – with Jessie Reyez), Pop Collaboration of the Year (‘Perfecta’ – with Maluma) and Song of the Year – Pop Ballad ‘Te Hubieras Ido Antes’.

Los Premios Juventud 2021, que este año rinden un homenaje a los jóvenes que lideran el cambio de la cultura con sus increíbles aportes musicales, tienen entre sus nominados a múltiples artistas de SESAC Latina. La lista de sus nominados la encabeza Christian Nodal quien aparece como finalista en ocho categorías diferentes y la agrupación Calibre 50 en cinco.

Nodal está nominado a: Mejor Canción Mariachi-Ranchera, Canción del Año y Track Viral del Año por su tema “Dime Cómo Quieres”, el cual interpreta con Ángela Aguilar. Así mismo el cantautor tiene postulaciones en Mejor Fusión Regional Mexicana (“Botella Tras Botella” – con Gera MX), en Traffic Jam por el tema “Se Me Olvidó”, y en Artista De La Juventud Masculino y al Álbum Regional Mexicano Del Año por AYAYAY!. Su octava postulación es en la categoría Juntos Encienden las Redes, junto a Belinda.

Este año Premios Juventud estrenó 14 nuevas categorías y Calibre 50 compite en tres de ellas:. Mejor Canción Regional Mexicana (“Barquillero”) y Mejor Fusión Regional Mexicana (“100 Años” -con Carlos Rivera y Maluma) y Álbum Regional Mexicano (Vamos Bien). Mientras que Ángela Aguilar podría llevarse los premios por la Canción Del Año y Track Viral Del Año gracias al tema “Dime Cómo Quieres”, grabado con Christian Nodal.

Mati Gómez, quien ha estado triunfando en éxitos como “Yo No Sé” (grabado junto a Reik y Nicky Jam), hace su debut en estos premios con su primera nominación en La Nueva Generación Masculina. Mientras que Jary Franco es candidato para ganar el Premio Juventud a la Mejor Canción Mariachi-Ranchera por “Y Si Me Vuelvo A Enamorar”.

En la 18ª entrega de los Premios Juventud, artistas de SESAC Latina compiten entre ellos en algunas de las categorías, como en Mejor Colaboración Regional Mexicana, en donde Los 2 de la S y Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga (“Somos Lo Que Somos”), aparecen nominados junto a Edén Muñoz (“Ca… Y Vago”). Lo mismo sucede en La Mezcla Perfecta, en donde Manuel Turizo (“Mala Costumbre”) es uno de los candidatos a llevarse ese premio al igual que Nicky Jam por “Porfa Remix”.

El espectáculo se entregarán el próximo 22 de julio a las 7 p.m. y serán transmitidos desde el Watsco Center en Miami a través de Univision.

SESAC LATINA Congratulates its Nominated Artists

SESAC LATINA artists stood out with multiple nominations for Premios Juventud 2021. Christian Nodal is among the top nominees with eight nominations, while Calibre 50 has five.

The 2021 Premios Juventud, which this year honors young people who are leading the culture shift with their incredible musical contributions, nominated multiple SESAC Latina artists for awards this year. The list of its nominees is headed by Christian Nodal who appears as a finalist in eight different categories and the group Calibre 50 with five.

Nodal is nominated for Best Mariachi-Ranchera Song, Song of the Year, and Viral Track of the Year for his song “Dime Cómo Quieres,” which he performs with Ángela Aguilar. Likewise, the singer-songwriter has nominations for Best Regional Mexican Fusion (“Botella Tras Botella” with Gera MX); for Traffic Jam for the song “Se Me Olvidó” and on Male Youth Artist and Regional Mexican Album of the Year for AY AY AY!. His eighth nomination is in the Juntos Encienden Mis Redes category, along with Belinda.

This year Premios Juventud launched 14 new categories and Calibre 50 competes in three: Best Regional Mexican Song (“Barquillero”), Best Regional Mexican Fusion (“100 Años” with Carlos Rivera and Maluma), and Best Regional Mexican Album (Vamos Bien). Mati Gómez, who has been triumphing on hits like “Yo No Sé” (recorded with Reik and Nicky Jam), makes his debut at the awards with his first nomination in New Generation – Male. While Jary Franco is a candidate to win the Premios Juventud award for the Best Mariachi-Ranchera Song for “Y Si Me Vuelvo A Enamorar.”

In the 18th installment of the Premios Juventud, SESAC Latina artists compete among themselves in some of the categories, such as Best Regional Mexican Collaboration, where Los 2 de la S and Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga (“Somos Lo Que Somos”) are nominated along with Edén Muñoz (“Ca… Y Vago”). The same happens in La Mezcla Perfecta (Song with the Best Collaboration), where Manuel Turizo (“Mala Costumbre”) is nominated against Nicky Jam for “Porfa Remix.”

The 2021 Premios Juventud will be broadcast on July 22 at 7 p.m. from the Watsco Center in Miami on Univision.

Ocho artistas de SESAC Latina recibieron múltiples nominaciones en el prestigioso Premio Lo Nuestro, que fue revelado el 14 de enero de 2020, por Univisión. El evento de la 32ª edición del Premio Lo Nuestro, producido por Univisión, será transmitido desde Miami el 20 de febrero.

El trio de pop mexicano Reik lidera a los afiliados de SESAC Latina con siete nominaciones, incluyendo entre estas la de Artista del Año y Álbum del Año con Ahora. Siguiendo con seis nominaciones el joven cantautor de regional mexicano Christian Nodal, quien está nominado para Artista del Año por segunda vez consecutiva. También estará defendiendo su título del año anterior, como Artista Regional Mexicano del Año.

Nicky Jam es el artista urbano de SESAC Latina más nominado, con un total de cinco categorías, incluyendo Remix del Año por “Otro Trago”, en la que se une con Sech, Ozuna, Anuel AA y Darell. Por si fuera poco, se encuentra en la categoría de Artista Masculino Urbano del Año, en la cual también fue nominado el año pasado.

El cuarteto Regional Mexicano Calibre 50 cuenta con tres nominaciones, y estará defendiendo su título del 2019 como Dúo o Grupo Regional Mexicano del Año.

También recibiendo múltiples nominaciones se encuentra el nuevo dueto Regional Mexicano Los 2 De La S con tres categorías; el cantante, compositor y acordeonista mexicano Remmy Valenzuela con dos; Banda Los Recoditos con dos; y Maquinaria Norteña con dos nominaciones.

Obteniendo una nominación cada uno se encuentran el joven cantautor urbano colombiano Manuel Turizo, y la sensación de YouTube Ángela Aguilar, miembro más joven de la dinastía musical de los Aguilar que fue nominada como Artista Social del Año.

SESAC Latina Artists Receive Multiple Nominations at the 32nd Annual Premio Lo Nuestro

Eight SESAC Latina artists received multiple nominations from the prestigious Premio Lo Nuestro, which was revealed today, Jan. 14, 2020, on Univisión. The 32nd Annual Premio Lo Nuestro Awards show, produced by Univisión, will air live from Miami on Feb. 20, 2020.

The Mexican pop trio Reik leads SESAC Latina affiliates with seven nominations, including overall Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for Ahora. Coming in with six nominations is the young Regional Mexican singer-songwriter Christian Nodal, who is nominated for Artist of the Year for the second straight year. He will also be defending his title as last year’s Regional Mexican Artist of the Year.

Nicky Jam is SESAC Latina’s most-nominated urban artist with a total of five, including Remix of the Year for “Otro Trago” (Another Drink), in which he joins Sech, Ozuna, Anuel AA and Darell. He is also up for Male Urban Artist of the Year, a category in which he was nominated last year.

The Regional Mexican foursome Calibre 50 has three nominations and will be defending its 2019 title as Regional Mexican Group or Duo of the Year.

Also receiving multiple nominations are the new Regional Mexican duo Los 2 De La S with three; Mexican singer, songwriter and accordionist Remmy Valenzuela with two; Banda Los Recoditos with two; and Maquinaria Norteña with two.

Receiving one nomination each are the youthful Colombian urban singer-songwriter Manuel Turizo, and the YouTube sensation Ángela Aguilar, the youngest member of the Aguilar musical dynasty who is nominated for Social Artist of the Year.

Los afiliados de SESAC Latina prolongaron su reinado como algunos de los artistas más aclamados de la música latina en la 32a entrega anual del Premio Lo Nuestro, que se llevó a cabo anoche, 20 de febrero, en Miami.

El trío mexicano de pop Reik defendió su título, volviendo a ganar en la categoría de Canción del Año – Pop/Rock con su éxito “Un Año”, junto al cantante colombiano de música pop-urbana Sebastián Yatra.

Banda Los Sebastianes obtuvo el primer Premio Lo Nuestro de su carrera con su versión regional mexicana de la misma canción, la cual también contó con la participación de Sebastián Yatra, en la categoría de Colaboración del Año – Regional Mexicano.

Calibre 50, el poderoso cuarteto regional mexicano dirigido por Edén Muñoz, también vuelve a triunfar, en las categorías de Dúo o Grupo del Año – Regional Mexicano, y Canción Norteña del Año, por “Simplemente Gracias.”

El joven cantante y compositor de la música ranchera Christian Nodal repite su triunfo como Artista del Año – Regional Mexicano, mientras emergió victorioso en dos categorías más, gracias a su éxito “Nada Nuevo” – Cancion del Año, Regional Mexicano; y Canción Mariachi/Ranchera del Año.

SESAC Latina Artists Garner Repeat Honors for Two Consecutive Years at 32nd Annual Premio Lo Nuestro

SESAC Latina artists continued their reign as some of Latin music’s most-acclaimed artists at the 32nd annual edition of Premio Lo Nuestro, held last night, Feb. 20, in Miami.

The Mexican pop trio Reik successfully defended its 2019 victory, winning this year’s Pop/Rock Song of the Year with “Un Año,” while joining Colombian urban-pop artist Sebastián Yatra.

In a very Sebastián-themed duet, Banda Los Sebastianes took home their first-ever Premio Lo Nuestro with their brassy Mexican version of the same song, also featuring Sebastián Yatra, in the category of Regional Mexican Collaboration of the Year.

Calibre 50, the powerhouse Regional Mexican foursome led by Edén Muñoz, is also a repeat victor, winning again in the categories of Regional Mexican Group or Duo of the Year; and Norteño Song of the Year, this time for “Simplemente Gracias.”

The young ranchera singer and songwriter Christian Nodal repeats as Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, while his smash single “Nada Nuevo” helped him win two other categories – Regional Mexican Song of the Year and Mariachi/Ranchera Song of the Year.

Televised live by Univisión, Premio Lo Nuestro consistently makes history as one of the music industry’s most glamorous and memorable events. Winners are selected by votes from the artists’ fans.

Este 23 de octubre del 2019, la organización de derechos de ejecución pública SESAC Latina, en conjunto con la poderosa compañía de producción y representación artística La Industria Inc., presentaron su seminario SESAC MUSIC 101 en el Gibson Brands Showroom de Miami.

Los participantes aprendieron sobre los fundamentos de varios aspectos creativos, económicos, legales y administrativos del negocio de la música por medio de veteranos ejecutivos y exitosos artistas y productores.

De parte de los presentadores de este evento, Celeste Zendejas, Directora de Servicios Creativos de SESAC Latina; y David Daza, Encargado Asuntos Legales y Negocios de La Industria, Inc.; ofrecieron una cálida bienvenida a los veteranos y emergentes compositores, compañías editoriales y ejecutivos de la industria de la música, y dieron discursos sobre sus empresas líderes.

CN Bank, quien patrocinó el seminario que se llevó a cabo sin costo alguno a los asistentes, fue representado por Rodrigo Nieto-Galvis, VP Gerente Senior de Relacionamiento. Él compartió su vasto conocimiento de servicios financieros hechos específicamente para los artistas latinos.

Los consejos sobre importantes aspectos del negocio siguieron con las pláticas de Ana Rocha, Gerente de Servicios Creativos de SESAC Latina; y Matthew Limones, Gerente de Relaciones de SoundExchange, quien reveló datos claves sobre la recaudación de regalías.

Destacados talentos creativos también compartieron su sabiduría y sus experiencias con los asistentes – incluyendo al productor DVLP (Eminem, Juanes); el cantante y compositor de La Industria, Inc. Joel (Nicky Jam, Manuel Turizo); y el empresario y uno de los más grandes exponentes del movimiento Urbano, el artista Ñengo Flow.

Cerrando el día con broche de oro, Ñengo Flow fue entrevistado por Celeste Zendejas de SESAC, aprovechando de la ocasión para anunciar el lanzamiento de su próximo sencillo a finales de noviembre, y de su nuevo álbum pautado para enero 2020.

En 2017, SESAC Latina y La Industria, Inc., presentaron SESAC MUSIC 101 en Medellín, Colombia, y gracias a su éxito, las dos compañías se comprometieron en traer este evento a Miami. Los emergentes compositores quienes asistieron Music 101 fueron inspirados, motivados e informados durante todo el día, listos para crear los éxitos del futuro y con mayor conocimiento de todas las facetas de la parte empresarial.

SESAC Latina and La Industria, Inc. Bring MUSIC 101 Seminar To Miami

On October 23, 2019, the music-rights organization SESAC Latina, in conjunction with the management and production powerhouse La Industria Inc., brought its Music 101 Seminar to the Gibson Brands Showroom in Miami. Participants received an intensive introduction to creative, financial, legal and administrative aspects of the Latin music business from experienced executives and chart-topping artists and producers.

Representing the joint hosts of this event, SESAC Latina Creative Services Director Celeste Zendejas and La Industria, Inc. Head of Legal and Business Affairs David Daza welcomed the established and aspiring songwriters, publishers, and music industry executives in attendance and gave talks about their industry-leading companies.

Music 101 was free to attendees, thanks to the event’s sponsor, CN Bank, which was represented by VP Senior Relationship Manager Rodrigo Nieto-Galvis. He shared his extensive experience in working with Latin music artists’ financial-services needs.

Also on hand to discuss important music-business topics were Ana Rocha, SESAC Latina Creative Services Manager; and Matthew Limones, Manager of Artist and Label Relations at SoundExchange, who gave the attendees valuable information on royalty collection.

Covering the creative side, such acclaimed artists as producer DVLP (Eminem, Juanes), La Industria, Inc. singer-songwriter Joel (Nicky Jam, Manuel Turizo), and reggaetón performer and mogul Ñengo Flow motivated the audience with their ample wisdom.

Marking the culmination of the day’s talks, Ñengo Flow was interviewed by SESAC’s Celeste Zendejas. He used the occasion to announce his upcoming single which will premiere in late November, as well as his January 2020 album release.

In 2017, SESAC Latina and La Industria, Inc. held a SESAC MUSIC 101 event in Medellín, Colombia, and its success led the two companies to bring the concept to Miami. Inspired, challenged and informed, the up-and-coming songwriters who took advantage of Music 101 are poised to create the hits of tomorrow while understanding every aspect of the business.
