Christian Nodal, afiliado de SESAC Latina, ganó a lo grande en los Latin American Music Awards 2022 el 21 de abril en Las Vegas, NV.

Además de ganar Artista Solista Favorito – Regional Mexicano, Álbum Favorito – Regional Mexicano (Ahora) y Canción Favorita – Regional Mexicana (“Botella Tras Botella)”, Nodal fue galardonado con el Premio “Evolución Extraordinaria’.

Este premio especial se “otorga a un joven intérprete que ha demostrado un cambio y un crecimiento acelerado como artista, para alcanzar el pináculo del éxito en un corto período de tiempo. Los homenajeados anteriores incluyen a Maluma, Becky G y Ozuna.

Nodal lanzó su primer sencillo “Adiós Amor” en 2017, hace apenas cinco años. Desde entonces, ha lanzado tres álbumes de estudio y varios éxitos que se han colocado en la posición # 1 de las listas más populares de la revista Billboard. Ha obtenido varios premios y nominaciones, incluyendo tres Latin GRAMMYs.

Después de recibir el premio especial, Nodal interpretó un popurrí de sus grandes éxitos, incluyendo “Adiós Amor”, “De Los Besos Que Te Di”, “Probablemente”, “Ya No Somos Ni Seremos”, y luego Gera MX lo acompaña en el escenario para interpretar “Botella Tras Botella”.

Christian Nodal Receives Extraordinary Evolution Award at 2022 Latin AMAs

SESAC Latina affiliate Christian Nodal won big at the 2022 Latin American Music Awards on April 21 in Las Vegas, NV.

In addition to winning Favorite Solo Artist – Regional Mexican, Favorite Album – Regional Mexican (Ahora), and Favorite Song – Regional Mexican (“Botella Tras Botella)”, Nodal was awarded the Extraordinary Evolution Award.

This special award is “presented to a young performer who has demonstrated change and accelerated growth as an artist, to reach the pinnacle of success in a short period of time. Previous honorees include Maluma, Becky G, and Ozuna.

Nodal released his first single “Adiós Amor” in 2017, just five short years ago. Since then, he has released three studio albums and several #1 hit songs. He has garnered several awards and nominations, including winning three Latin GRAMMY Awards.

After receiving the special award, Nodal performed a medley of his hits including “Adiós Amor,” “De Los Besos Que Te Di,” “Probablemente,” “Ya No Somos Ni Seremos,” and then brought out Gera MX to perform the chart-topping “Botella Tras Botella.” SESAC Latina affiliate

Los artistas de SESAC Latina están entre los que más nominaciones obtuvieron a Premio Lo Nuestro 2022. Christian Nodal lidera la lista con diez postulaciones, le siguen de cerca Calibre 50, con ocho, Ángela Aguilar con siete, y Reik con cinco.

Para la 34 edición de Premio Lo Nuestro, que se realizarán en vivo desde FTX Arena en Miami, el 24 de febrero a partir de las 8 p.m., Christian Nodal está nominado en las siguientes categorías:

  • Artista Premio Lo Nuestro del Año y Artista del Año Regional Mexicano.
  • Canción del Año y Canción del Año Regional por su tema ‘Dime cómo quieres’, con Ángela Aguilar.

SESAC Latina artists are among the most nominated for Premio Lo Nuestro 2022. Christian Nodal leads the list with ten nominations, followed closely by Calibre 50 with eight, Ángela Aguilar with seven, and Reik with five.

For the 34th edition of Premio Lo Nuestro, which will be held live from FTX Arena in Miami, February 24, starting at 8 p.m., Christian Nodal is nominated in the following categories:

  • Premio Lo Nuestro Artist of the Year and Regional Mexican Artist of the Year.
  • Song of the Year for his song ‘Dime Cómo Quieres’, with Angela Aguilar.
  • The Perfect Mix of the Year (‘Botella Tras Botella’ with Gera Mx & Christian Nodal).
  • Nodal is also twice nominated in three categories: Regional Mexican Song of the Year (‘Dime Cómo Quieres’ with Ángela Aguilar) and for ‘Duele’ (with Alejandro Fernández); Regional Mexican Collaboration of the Year (‘Botella Tras Botella’ with Gera MX) and ‘Duele’ (with Alejandro Fernández). Reik, who is nominated for Pop Group or Duo of the Year, is included in these other categories: Pop Song of the Year (‘Lo Intenté Todo’ – with Jessie Reyez), Pop Collaboration of the Year (‘Perfecta’ – with Maluma) and Song of the Year – Pop Ballad ‘Te Hubieras Ido Antes’.

The 22nd Annual Latin GRAMMYs® returned to Las Vegas with a roaring crowd celebrating the Latin GRAMMY® Winners on November 18th after temporarily hosting the show from Miami in 2020 with no live audience and remote performances due to COVID-19 protocols. This year’s show was once again telecast live by Univisión.

Christian Nodal added another trophy to his growing collection, winning Best Regional Song for “Aquí Abajo” from his Latin GRAMMY-nominated album, ¡AYAYAY! Gussy Lau, who co-wrote this song with Nodal, also took home a trophy. Affiliates Rafa Arcaute and Federico Vindver also won in the category of Best Engineering Album for El Madrileño, recorded by C. Tangana.

There were several epic performances overnight, including Christina Aguilera’s rendition of her new single “Somos Nada,” co-written by affiliates Sharlene Taule and Federico Vindver, and produced by Vindver and Rafa Arcaute. Mike Tower performed his single “Tin Tin,” co-written by affiliates Orlando Cepeda Matos and Sharon Ramirez LopezCalibre 50 performed “A La Antigüita,” written by Edén Muñoz, from their nominated album Vamos Bien, and “Esta Vida Es Muy Bonita” with Banda El Recodo, co-written by affiliates Alex Hernandez and Ruben EsliAngela Aguilar performed at the awards and performed “Ligia Elena” the night before at the Person of the Year celebration to honor Ruben Blades. Paloma Mami performed her song “I Love Her” on the red carpet before the show.

30 de junio, 2021. Una vez más SESAC Latina reconoció el éxito de sus compositores y editoras con la entrega de sus importantísimos premios, los cuales fueron otorgados a casi 40 canciones. Y, en un nuevo capítulo de su historia, los SESAC LATINA MUSIC AWARDS se entregaron por primera vez en dos categorías: Regional Mexicano y Ritmo Latino / Pop.

La lista de ganadores está encabezada por Edén Muñoz quien ganó por segunda vez el Premio al Mejor Compositor de Música Regional Mexicana, luego de haberse apoderado de los charts de preferencia este año con temas como “Barquillero”, “Solo Tú”, “Cerrando Ciclos” y “Esta Vez Soy Yo”, los cuales también fueron reconocidos con SESAC Latina Performance Awards. Manuel Turizo también lidera esta lista, ganando por primera vez el Premio al Mejor Compositor del Año Ritmo Latino / Pop. Turizo ha estado sonando fuerte en todos lados con sus temas “TBT” y “Quiéreme Mientras Se Pueda”, “Te Quemaste”, “Pegao”, “La Nota” y “No Encuentro Palabras”. Todos estos temas también fueron reconocidos con SESAC Latina Performance Awards.

“No cabe duda que la música hace de nuestro mundo un mejor lugar para disfrutar la vida, sobreponiéndonos a cualquier situación difícil como lo ha sido durante este tiempo”, dijo Celeste Zendejas, vicepresidente de SESAC Latina. “Y qué mejor oportunidad de poder celebrar a todos aquellos que con su amor, pasión, talento y dedicación, crean este sentimiento tan hermoso que llamamos música. Agradecemos a todos nuestros compositores por plasmar todas sus vivencias y sentimientos en cada canción. Este ha sido un año emocionante en la música latina y estamos orgullosos de celebrar y honrar las canciones más interpretadas por los compositores y editores de SESAC LATINA”, dijo Sam Kling, vicepresidente senior de operaciones creativas de SESAC Rights Management en un comunicado oficial. “Sus canciones han mezclado géneros, han trascendido épocas y han llegado a audiencias que no hablan español de formas sin precedentes”.

El Premio a la Canción del Año fue para Christian Nodal por “Se Me Olvidó” en Regional Mexicano y Ñengo Flow por “Safaera” en Ritmo Latino / Pop.

Dulce María Music LLC se llevó el Premio a la Editora del Año en regional mexicano, y por sexto año consecutivo Sony Sounds, en Ritmo Latino / Pop.

Los SESAC LATINA MUSIC AWARDS, que este año se anunciaron el miércoles 30 de junio a través de las redes sociales de SESAC LATINA y su sitio Web oficial, llevan casi tres décadas honrando lo mejor de la música latina.

(Los Angeles, Calif., June 30, 2021) – SESAC Latina is honored to recognize the success of its composers and publishers with its annual music awards, which were given to almost 40 songs. For the first time in the awards history, the top awards for the SESAC LATINA MUSIC AWARDS were presented in two categories: Regional Mexican and Pop / Latin Rhythm.

The list of winners is headed by Edén Muñoz, who won his second award for Songwriter of the Year – Regional Mexican, after topping the charts this year with songs such as “Barquillero,” “Sólo Tú,” “Cerrando Ciclos” and “Esta Vez Soy Yo,” which were also recognized with SESAC Latina Performance Awards. Manuel Turizo also tops the list, winning the award for Songwriter of the Year – Pop / Latin Rhythm for the first time. Turizo has been making noise with his songs “TBT” and “Quiéreme Mientras Se Pueda,” “Te Quemaste,” “Pegao,” “La Nota” and “No Encuentro Palabras,” which were all recognized with SESAC Latina Performance Awards.

The Song of the Year Award went to Christian Nodal for “Se Me Olvidó” in Regional Mexican and Ñengo Flow for “Safaera” in Pop / Latin Rhythm.

Dulce María Music won the Publisher of the Year Award in Regional Mexican, and for the sixth consecutive year, Sony Sounds in Pop / Latin Rhythm.

The SESAC LATINA MUSIC AWARDS, announced on Wednesday, June 30 through SESAC Latina’s social media channels and its official website, have been honoring the best of Latin music for almost three decades.
